Brady J. Fulton graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he earned his J.D. with honors in 1996. Brady won AmJur awards for the highest grades in Legal Writing, Civil Procedure and Personal Income Tax, and he was a member of the Chicago-Kent Moot Court Honor Society. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1996, and to the North Carolina Bar in 2009.

 

Brady served for two years as a law clerk for Hon. Ann Claire Williams of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He then served for one year as a law clerk for Hon. William J. Bauer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

 

Mr. Fulton presently concentrates in complex civil litigation and medical malpractice defense. Before joining Northup, McConnell & Sizemore, Mr. Fulton spent seven years as an attorney and partner at the intellectual property litigation firm Niro, Scavone, Haller & Niro in Chicago. His practice there focused on patent litigation, trade secret litigation, commercial litigation, and trademark litigation. Brady worked on several patent litigation trial teams that won multi-million dollar verdicts for the firm’s clients. He recently worked on a patent infringement trial that resulted in a $12 million verdict and a permanent injunction for the firm’s client. Mr. Fulton also previously worked as a litigator for Jenner & Block in Chicago, where he focused on complex business litigation, securities litigation and white collar criminal defense.

 

Brady is admitted to practice in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also has been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, and the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.

 

Brady’s personal interests include marathon running, golf, hiking, and spending time with his wife and their two sons, Emmett and Isaac.
